Office Hours
Pop-in to our Office Hours to discuss your questions about Elements@IU directly with the Elements Team. With no set content for these sessions, you have the time to dig into your personal concerns and Elements data with an expert.
Scheduled Zoom Trainings
The Elements Team provides regular trainings on the Elements system with two options tailored to specific stages of the user experience.
The Elements Basics training, offered year-round, is 1 hour long and covers entering an activity, harvesting publication data, cleaning up historical or harvested data, and more basic functions of the system. The Annual Review Workflow training covers the faculty member workflow experience in a 30-minute session and is offered in the Fall and Winter.
If you have not used Elements yet and need a foundational understanding of system functionality, start with the Elements Basics training. The Annual Review Workflow training will build upon a basic understanding of the system and will not cover activity entry.

Annual Review Workflow trainings will resume in Fall 2026. However, Elements is available to faculty year-round and it is recommended that you add activities throughout the year to ease the amount of work required to complete the Annual Review process in the winter.
