The Office of University Academic Programs manages academic program approvals at the university level, including the development of new degree and stand-alone certificate programs and changes to existing academic programs and organizations.
If you need help with initial program approval process at your local level, contact the office of your Provost or Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
For questions about the university level process, view the proposal guidance page or contact approval@iu.edu as early as possible to discuss proposal development, review, and approval requirements. The Office of University Academic Programs will advise and coordinate with the appropriate contacts to effectively manage the post-campus review and approval.
