Academic Structures Changes and Additions
In accordance with IU Policy BOT-25 (Creation, Merger, Reorganization, and Elimination of Academic Units and Programs), requests to initiate a CREM must be approved by the Chancellor or Chief Academic Officer (CAO) at the campus level and are forwarded to the Academic Leadership Council (ALC) only when additional approvals are required, consistent with the ALC’s purview and ICHE requirements.
